I ordered them for my husband, who is suffering from the cold as a result of recent major surgery and continuing medication. These gloves are incredible, and he wears them frequently. When on the bus, it retains heat from high to medium to low. Excellent work.
I had a pair of heated gloves for 5 years that used a 9-volt battery in each glove, and while they worked fine, they were slow to start up. These require three double-A batteries, which is a little more expensive, but boy do these heat up quickly, a minute after turning on I can feel the heat in both the front and back of the gloves, suffering from Osteoarthritis, these are precisely what I need for those chilly winter days!!! I'm not sure how long the batteries will last, but I'm confident they will. I also believe I will be able to conserve battery life by being able to switch them off for a short period of time because they are so warm. Overall, really excellent gloves that are also quite warm! Highly recommend!

I received these really promptly. Even though I knew the batteries might not be charged, I went ahead and tried it as soon as I opened the box. The batteries were charged, and the gloves warmed up fast. The heating is just right, not too hot or too cold, and the thickness is present but doesn't bother me at all. And I had no idea my phone's touchpad index finger would be responsive. I'm looking forward to putting these to use in the near future!
